Yes: the agent is configured to answer in Italian and the conversation stays in Italian. The bottleneck is not the model, it is your content: if the knowledge base and the instructions are written in English, Italian answers turn into rough translations exactly on the edge cases, which are the ones that matter. In the first use case we check which language your source data is actually in and, if needed, that part is fixed before go-live.

For the most common use cases, no: an agent working on the accounts, cases, orders and knowledge base already in your org starts without Data Cloud. Data Cloud earns its place when the agent has to read data living outside Salesforce, or unstructured content spread across several systems. It is one of the first things we check, because it moves the project cost far more than the agent licence does.

Einstein Copilot was the name Salesforce used for the in-platform conversational assistant before it brought everything under Agentforce. Today the family is Agentforce: agents for your own employees are where the old Copilot ended up, agents facing customers and partners are the newer half, and the two are not priced the same way. If a quote you are holding still says Copilot, it is worth asking which of the two it means, and under which pricing model.

Claudeforce is the Salesforce-Anthropic partnership announced on 26 August 2026: Claude is now the default reasoning model in Agentforce Vibes and Coworker and selectable in Agent Builder. For a project it means one more model to choose from, tested on your real conversations, and the same usage costs as before. It is not a merger and there is nothing to buy.
